Each day we wake up to a new thing that interferes with our "normal" way of doing things, believing in things, seeing things, enjoying things and just being our usual selves. Each day there appears to be a new challenge. Some days we want to crawl into a hole and occasionally peek out with only one eye. With both eyes we would see too much. My challenge is for you to go from Terror to Trooper. Discuss with yourself the ways you can keep yourself and those you love out of "Terrorville" and in "Trooper City." I will offer three ways:
(1) Believe in you own power to overcome adversity. Think about past successes with overcoming obstacles that could have stopped you. You did it once, you can do it again.
(2) Find time to stop and smell the roses. Look for the beauty around you and avoid seeing only the negatives.
(3) Surround yourself with positive people who will help you develop a survival, success plan. Failure is not an option.
